Main Ingredients

  • 0.75 liter dry white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
  • 0.25 cup orange liqueur like Triple Sec or Cointreau
  • 0.5 cup orange juice freshly squeezed if possible
  • 0.5 cup lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 cup strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup peaches sliced

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, orange liqueur, and orange juice. Stir well.
  • Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, strawberries, and peaches to the pitcher.
  • Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  • Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Just before serving, add the lemon-lime soda or sparkling water to the sangria.
  • Serve chilled over ice. Garnish with fresh fruit if desired.

Notes

For a sweeter sangria, you can add a touch of simple syrup to taste. This recipe is very versatile; feel free to experiment with different fruits like raspberries, blueberries, or kiwi.
