Preparation Steps
Blend all the sauce ingredients together in a small blender or food processor until completely smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a teaspoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings as necessary (add more chili paste for heat, more sweetener for sweetness, or more soy sauce for saltiness/umami).
Serve immediately over noodles, salads, grilled protein, or use as a dipping sauce.
Notes
If you prefer a thinner sauce, use up to 1/2 cup of water. For an extra bright flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
