Sauce Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Peanut Butter
  • 0.33333333333333 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Sambal Oelek or Chili Paste Adjust to taste for spice level
  • 2.5 tablespoons Sugar, honey, or agave Use between 2 to 3 tablespoons
  • 1 small knob Fresh Ginger Peeled
  • 1 clove Fresh Garlic Peeled
  • 0.25 cup Water For thinning

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Blend all the sauce ingredients together in a small blender or food processor until completely smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a teaspoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings as necessary (add more chili paste for heat, more sweetener for sweetness, or more soy sauce for saltiness/umami).
  • Serve immediately over noodles, salads, grilled protein, or use as a dipping sauce.

Notes

If you prefer a thinner sauce, use up to 1/2 cup of water. For an extra bright flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
