Roma tomatoes are ideal, but any ripe tomato will work. Remove seeds and dice.

Preparation Steps
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, finely diced white onion, and minced jalapeño pepper.
Add the chopped fresh cilantro to the bowl.
Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture.
Season with salt to taste. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 15-30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, burritos, or as a fresh topping for grilled meats and fish. Pico de gallo is best served fresh.
