Ingredients
  

For the Crust

  • 2.5 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 0.375 cup butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping, thawed

For Garnish

  • chocolate syrup
  • chopped peanuts

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium bowl, combine crushed cookies and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  • Spoon the filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped peanuts, if desired.

Notes

This pie is best served cold. For an extra decadent touch, you can add a layer of melted chocolate to the bottom of the crust before adding the filling.
