  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 cup chopped apples

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, mashed banana, applesauce, and egg. Mix well.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
