Ingredients
  

For the Crust:

  • 24 cookies Oreo cookies finely crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted

For the Filling:

  • 3 packages cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks
  • 12 cookies Oreo cookies roughly chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  • Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • Garnish with additional Oreo cookies before serving, if desired.

Notes

This cheesecake is best served chilled. For an extra touch, you can top it with whipped cream and more crushed Oreos.
