Preparation Steps
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, Nutella, and heavy cream until the Nutella is mostly incorporated.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, whisking frequently, until it is hot but not boiling. Be careful not to scorch the bottom of the pan.
Stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
Notes
Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of Nutella if desired.
