Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
While cookies cool, whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle icing over cooled cookies.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
