Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
Stir in rice, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked through and liquid is absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve.

For extra flavor, you can add a tablespoon of lemon juice or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
