  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 14 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • Whisk eggs into the melted chocolate. Gently fold in the whipped cream. Pour into the cooled crust.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

For an extra touch, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
