Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.
Melt the chocolate and butter together. Let cool slightly.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, mixing until combined.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
Let cool completely before serving.
