Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in peanut butter.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before frosting.
Notes
For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder. You can also add chocolate chips to the batter.
