Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
In a separate bowl, mash bananas. Add oil, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix well.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
