  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Noodles
  • 0.5 cup Chopped mushrooms

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook noodles according to package directions.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese, cooked chicken, and mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add cooked noodles to the sauce and stir to combine. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before baking.
