  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.5 cup sunflower seeds shelled
  • 6 strips bacon cooked and crumbled

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, red onion, dried cranberries, and sunflower seeds.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss to combine.
  • Stir in the crumbled bacon.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

This salad is best served chilled. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
