A delicious and easy apple cranberry crisp recipe, perfect for fall. Sweet and tart cranberries complement the apples beautifully in this warm, comforting dessert.
In a large bowl, combine apples, cranberries, granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Pour mixture into a greased 8x8 inch or 9-inch pie dish.
In a separate bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, 0.5 cup flour, 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon, nuts (if using), and cold butter. Use a pastry blender or your fingers to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple cranberry mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
