Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine rinsed quinoa, water, 1 tsp cinnamon, and vanilla in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and let cook for 15 minutes, or until the quinoa is cooked and can be fluffed with a fork.
Divide the cooked quinoa between four bowls. Stir in the applesauce and golden raisins, then drizzle with the warmed milk.
Top each serving with the fresh diced apples, chopped pecans, and an extra dash of cinnamon.
Notes
This recipe can be made ahead and reheated. Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
